Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) emerged as a key platform for the Middle East’s growing fashion industry, evolving from Arab Fashion Week, which was launched in 2015 by the Arab Fashion Council (AFC). In 2022, it was officially rebranded as Dubai Fashion Week in collaboration with Dubai Design District (d3) and Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, cementing its status as the region’s premier fashion event.
Held biannually, DFW attracts global luxury houses, emerging designers, and industry leaders, bridging Middle Eastern fashion with international markets. The city is home to visionary designers and emerging brands like Mrs. Keepa, Lama Jouni, Bouguessa, Reemami, All Things Mochi and HALA further highlight Dubai’s embrace of multiculturalism and empowerment through fashion. It is the industry’s only official platform in Dubai which makes part of the international calendar alongside New York, London, Milan, and Paris fashion weeks.
